benleito.studio is an independent design and maker studio based in Amsterdam, founded by product designer Ben Leito.

The studio creates distinctive objects that bring together digital design, contemporary production methods and hands-on craftsmanship. Each object begins with something worth exploring, a familiar form, a clever construction or an unexpected material possibility, and develops through sketching, CAD, prototyping, mold-making and experimentation.

Digital tools bring structure and precision to the process, while physical materials introduce variation, resistance and unpredictability. Rather than eliminating this tension, the studio works with it. 

Hands-on craftsmanship adds the human judgement and character that machines alone cannot provide.

Rather than following trends or creating objects simply to fill a space, benleito.studio aims to make pieces with a clear idea, lasting character and a sense of discovery; objects that spark curiosity at first sight and continue to reveal more through use and closer observation.

The studio’s first product is currently being developed and produced in small quantities in Amsterdam.
